Know that a top box solution isn't the most pretty, but it's so practical..

Looks great!

I have a KAPPA/GIVI top box I use on my Honda CB500X, mounted on an SW-Motech rear rack.

Top boxes/case are a harder sell here in the U.S. They're mostly used by Touring and Adventure riders.

Not too popular with other riders, who seem to think they make bikes look too much like scooters, and scooters are mostly disliked here, for some reason.

Thanks..

Du kan tro jeg nyder mine ture;)

What I like the most is that the box is flat/plan on the top and imho doesn't look like a scooter.. lol.

And also gives me the opportunity to plant some stuff on the top of the box! ;) if I needed so.

I want to add something like these to mine, but I'm waiting for ones that aren't so expensive. These are pretty pricey at c. $80 and $45 USD

Ouch... Yes that's expensive but looking good.. would also like to have that setup:)
Can it handle highway speeds with the box on?

Hi.. yes no problems at all
Scooters are mostly disliked because either the really young AND obnoxious riders or the 'I lost my licence after my 4th DUI" riders....They're nicknamed "Liquor Sickles" in my neck of the woods...;)

Also...in the US, there seems to be a VERY clear demarcation between types of bikes. Sport bikes very very rarely have bags or luggage EXCEPT tank bags. Adventure (BMW, KTM, etc) usually have hard, streamlined saddlebags and sometimes a tank bag. Standards usually have a back package rack but not much luggage. Harley's....well....Harley's hang anything made in bondage black leather from every place they can find. Seriously, co-worker has 7 bags on his Harley...he commutes 2 miles to work and rarely rides for fun. :|

Anything outside of the 'usual' stereotype gets funny looks. I've seen sportbike riders (here) with helmet boxes on the back get asked if it's for Pizza.

Not saying it's right or wrong...just the vast majority see it like this....
