No R3 will be R3, although its likely Yamaha will have a dual proged strategy with the R25 sold where the CBR250 and Ninja 250 continue to sell and the R3 will go against CBR300 and Ninja 300 in the markets where they sell..So it turns out the media was right.
Do you know if it will be called anything different in other markets?
thanks, them keeping the name consistent throughout all market it releases in is a good thing. always disliked the different namesNo R3 will be R3, although its likely Yamaha will have a dual proged strategy with the R25 sold where the CBR250 and Ninja 250 continue to sell and the R3 will go against CBR300 and Ninja 300 in the markets where they sell..
i totally missed the date mention, it's a while from now. I just hope they give aftermarket companies some pre-production models so they can start R&D so we wont have to wait a while for parts.YZF-R3 probably is what it's going to be call from the Index detail name. If anyone notice the filing date it's 6/1/14. We probably won't see it until end of year or spring of 2015.
Even online, that`s how easy they make it for people to search, which is how it should be. It would be a big hassle to have to call some office and go back and forth between them just to make sure a name or what ever it is isn`t takenpatents aren't secret. You can go to US PTO and check for yourself...
