Is this a good deal? How expensive is that part for replacement? Bike doesnt even have 500 miles on it and thats about 2K off the best price I have found locally.

That seems like a screaming great deal.

Surprised that the right rear fairing got cracked, as it's so high up. Would be good to check that the exhaust didn't get bent, as it seems to be much more susceptible to taking injuries.

I'm told fairings for the R3 are reasonable, though haven't priced any myself.

Good luck!
Ok, I am looking to hop on it. The guy has the title in hand and ready to go. Already checked out by a mechanic and deemed safe.
Unless something falls through I just bought this bike. Anyone have a link for the replacement part?

i damaged mine while i fell last week on that part as well but decide not to replace that part and the bike shop agrees that it's not some part would do alot of protection
Plus i ride mine with a tail bag on almost all the time so no one can see it anyway. As Endopotential said it's so high up that it wouldn't be damaged unless a rock happen to be there when dropped etc. But if it bugs your eyes then yea replace it

Thanks guys. Yeah not sure what happened exactly he just said he was rolling it through his yard to his shed and dropped it in the grass. Not sure if it hit anything or what, there's not really any scratches just that part is cracked.
While I'm at it what's the cheapest fender eliminator out there? I'm just looking for something simple to get rid of that monstrosity off the back.

Cheapest- diy.

Vagabond FE is - $69.99 and I think looks the best
Thanks for the reply. I'm not super familiar with this bike, but is that panel that's cracked 2 separate panels or just one? It looks like 2 different panels in the picture but hard to tell. I'll be seeing it in person Tuesday, deal is already worked out and money ready to go. But I just noticed it looked like two panels. But at $22 for one panel I'm not really sweating it.

Tail section is 3 separate panels: Left, Right & Middle (behind the rider seat).

The one in the photo of the bike that's cracked is the right side panel = it's just one piece, not two.

Just buy Part # 11 (the DPBMC one, stands for Deep Purplish Blue Metallic) and you're good to go. VERY easy change out, too.
Thanks!
excellent price, easy fixes. Buy for sure.

GO MONDAY
I might be as long as his schedule is good. He has an interview at 3, I have to go pick up papers at the bank in the AM. So if that happens and I can meet him by noon I'll have it in my garage tomorrow night.
congrats man, great find at a great price. Like everyone said, should be an easy fix!
You are able to see it in person before 100% committing, right?
Yes, see it and I have a buddy with lots of riding experience that is going to test ride it. The guy is selling because he wants a bigger bike.
