Now that you guys on the West Coast have your R3s, could one of you perhaps post a partial VIN (all but the last 4 digits) so those of us still waiting here in the East can get insurance quotes? I'm in Atlanta, and have been trying to get an insurance quote since last Fall, but not even the Yamaha facility here can get me the partial VIN. Thanks in advance for the help!

My vin didn't work with my insurance. They just worked off model of bike and engine size

That's what I figured my insurance agent could do, but a VIN (or partial) is needed for a quote. Using Foremost.

That's how it went for me with Progressive. They quoted me without the VIN then when I inserted the VIN # suddenly it shot up $44.
