Whats up guys, New here from North Jersey, I'm most likely going to pick up an R-3 as a second Ride the wheels Off bike...my First Bike is a 2012 S1000RR...which I may sell for an updated 2015, or maybe an R-1..but in the mean time..I'll ring out this R3, just not sure to get a Red or Blue one ??....Is it true it's better to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow ?? ;)

Hey, JR3, another NNj guy here too. I've been on a Ninja 300 the last two years. Friggin bored me to tears. Modded the heck outta it, still a dull blade, chassis and fork flex the two things I couldn't fix.

Thinking about a RC or Duke. I've been racing KTMs prince 1998, not sure about these
India models though.

I liked the feel of the R3 at least, seems a slightly better ?Ninja 300. Not sure if it's better enough at this point.

Welcome! The S1000 is a nice ride.

I have 3 bikes now, 1 being a Ninja 300 which I really like. I put as many miles on that as I did my FZ09 last year and this year I have more on the Ninja 300 thus far. I do agree it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow. No matter all of the bikes I have had I always keep a small bike in the stable. When I had a ZX14 I also had a Ninja 250, lol.

I really like how the new R3 is looking, not enough to sell my 300 but if I didn't have the 300 already it would be between the R3 and Ninja 300 for me. Just have to figure out which one would suit me better as there is no best option for everyone.

Good luck in your search and enjoy your new small bore sportbike whatever you decide on... I will be curious to see how much you ride the 1000 once you get another bike.

My Thoughts exactly, I have a buddy who wants to buy my S1000RR, so I will Ride the wheels off this R3, and play Valentino Rossi on my Sunday Rides..LOL)))

I got my eye on a 1299 Panigale, or I'll perhaps wait for the New Hayabusa which Suzuki will surely come out with soon.
