Good choice on the Yami, moving up from that 250
How long have you been riding that CBR for? Anything done to it?

Probably pretty cold in Albert aright now. I bet that he won't be able to take it out for a ride until the spring. Hope he can handle the wait.

Had the cbr for one riding season. Summer of 2014. Got in about 2600 km of riding. Lots of fun. Friend had an r1 for awhile. Helped him rebuild and paint it. He got it for cheap with lots of damage. 2cnd time I've been on an r1. All I can say is with all th wide open road here its a real blast but I couldn't see owning one in my future. Maintenance costs scared me abit. I've been a Honda fan all my life so this is kinda a switch for me. I like to modify my stuff but I don't hav a real large budget for biking. I sat on th r3 and it felt a lot like my Honda. Hopefully it's just got a little more top end. That was the only thing I didn't like about my cbr. My cbr has some carbon fiber different seat stompgrip tank pads fender eliminator tail light just th basic mods.

Good call on just settling on lower range bikes. Did you find that you got really used to the R1 and was able to push it hard enough or were you still being careful enough riding it?
