Hi everybody!

First off, my name is Bryce and I am from Maple Plain MN, nice to meet you!

I purchased my R3 last Thursday, and like many, it is my first motorcycle. My father has always been a Harley rider, and since he has always dreamed of me riding with him, I grew up riding scooters, mopeds, dirt-bikes, etc. However, due to being busy since I graduated from High School (7 years ago) with college, then my career, then family health issues, I had never had an opportunity to get out and get my motorcycle license. Well, that has finally changed.

I purchased my R3 last Thursday, but was not able to take it home right away due to the service department being closed, and they needed to prep it still. So I told them that I would pick it up the following day, forgetting of course that it was supposed to rain and storm all day. So the next day I am sitting at work, watching the radar, looking for a window of opportunity to go get it, when I see the gap in the storm. Perfect. I rushed out to the dealership, hopped on, rode home in light rain, and got it safely into my garage just before the heavens opened up and rain came pouring down.

I was not able to ride at all on Saturday, but I have put 140 miles on in the past 2 days. I absolutely love everything about the bike, except for the rear fender.....I hate that. A lot. But I just ordered the Vagabond fender eliminator kit today (I saw it mentioned by a forum member in a post) and cannot wait for it to be delivered. I had been searching for a kit that utilized the factory license plate light.

That's about it for my introduction. I look forward to getting to know all of you. :)

Here is a pick of my bike with the vagabond kit installed. Pretty simple to install. I went to the vagabond site where they have a video of the install, start to finish.

Welcome Bryce! How does Papi feel now that you've joined the darkside of Japanese sport bikes ;) (Kidding)

Vagabond kit is pretty!
Welcome to the addiction, Bryce. I really like the "wistful thinking" rainy day pic. Lol

He is doing his best to be supportive and tells me how much he likes my bike, but I can tell that his dream of he and I riding "Ape-Hanger to Ape-Hanger" has been shattered. ;)

Haha, thanks! No joke, my girlfriend took that picture less than 5 seconds after I backed into the garage. Timed it perfectly.
Welcome neighbor. I'm just north of Elk River.

Congratulations on the new bike. That pic of you sitting on the bike should be your avatar.
