Hi everyone

Finally got my midnight black R3 here in the uk, picked it up at mid-day today with 2 miles on the clock and have since put on 74 miles on this rare sunny day here in the uk, First thoughts are the bike is alot more upright then my YZF R125 but quite comfortable so far i'm loving it, just gotta save up some money for some mods now :D

Welcome to the Forum.

Interesting that Yamaha UK calls the R3 colors Race Blu and Midnight Black. In the U.S. they're Team Yamaha Blue and Raven Black.

And you don't get the Rapid Red color. Curious...
Great decision...coming to the "Dark Side". Midnight Black or Raven...(red or blue), my friend you have a 321cc-Beast!!!
Welcome

I can see from the pics that the UK R3 has Clear Lens Indicators front and back as well as ABS standard.

I was going to go Black as well but once I saw all 3 in person I decided to go with the Red/White.

I'm from east of Nottingham in Grantham but live in Montana now. Been to Birmingham lots.
Go Birmingham City! Did I get that right?
Almost depends if they are a villa fan, albion fan or city fan (if we are talking about football ;) )

Figured B.C. was the biggest club with the most fans and that I'd have the best chance of hitting it right.

Mean no offense to supporters of other clubs:) I know from experience that English and Scottish football fans take their support of their chosen club VERY seriously. Got hit by a bottle at a WILD Rangers/Celtic game a long time ago....OUCH! It wasn't intended for me. I was just in its trajectory path.....

'Go Villa"!
So, I guess I didn't get it right. Go Villa!
No you got it absolutely right. There are several teams in Birmingham including City but I preferred Aston Villa is all. (Waiting for some comment now from the Birmingham home fans);)
