Hi,
Firstly, I am new to riding and got my R3 (first bike) a couple of weeks ago. I installed two new blinkers with a built-in relais for the rear of my R3. I noticed the blinkers cause a concerning heat on the marked part in the picture below. Could you maybe tell me what is causing this heat and how I could fix this?

I tried looking for a solution on here but I couldn't find any. I hope you guys can help me.

It's a resistor used to delay the flasher timing, it's hot because it's bleeding off the extra current that would normally be needed for the original incandescent bulbs.
Like DR4G00N said, it's a resistor. Perfectly normal and only should be concerned if it looks or smells like it's burning, or is melting the plastics.
