Hi,
I have a Ducati Monster 1200S, but wanted a good track bike. I think I have decided to go with the R3. It would have been R6, but I think this will be better to start on track with, and then later on when hopefully Yamaha updates the R6, I'll get one.

I'm in Texas, lots of great riding here.

Welcome from NJ...If you're tracking this bike put some good tires. The stock tires are Bias-ply, and I just don't trust them.

I just ordered some Bridgestone Battleaxe 003's, and they should arrive by mid week. good for aggressive Street or Track.

Will be ordering some maybe Q3s or Battlax's was looking at Diablo Rosso Corsa too, not a bad price, I like them on the Ducati. I have been reading that those tires on it were bias ply, I guess today not that good, although years ago all they had. But I think they are good for commuting only myself. No way am I going to use them on track.
