Hey guys,
I just picked up my matte black R3 today. It’s my third bike, previously rode a KTM Duke 390 and then traded that into a Ducati Streetfighter 848, both of which I loved tremendously. This time around because of my size (5’4) I decided to skip power for seat height comfort, and a smaller price tag. I genuinely cannot believe how much fun it was to ride the R3 home, some more power would be excellent, but I have zero complaints about the bike as a whole. Thank you for all your past posts and guidance that let me to this purchase!
Also I’m in the Dutchess County are of New York, if any riders nearby would like to meet for a ride let me know.

Congratulations on the new bike. I also came from a much faster bike but actually enjoy the R3 more 95% of the time.

Same here, came from a bigger bike..been thinking of getting another 600, but can't do it, R3 is just an all around best deal in every aspect of riding, except for illegal 115mph+ speed..which is probably a good thing.

Yeah at some point I’ll go bigger again, but there’s a good chance I’ll hang on to the r3 for work commuting. I really don’t see a reason to not have one in the garage.

I'm a tourist. I have a BMW g650 bike. Now I'm thinking of buying another bike, the BMW K 1600B. My personal opinion is that the bike should be a perfect suit as well. And it's been a lot easier for longer trips.
