Hi all,

recently purchased a 2015 blue R3 which had been stolen from the previous owners back yard, it was in a pretty bad way-
all body work missing or broken
handle bar bent, back back lever bent, brake hose severed and lever and reservoir missing.
ignition switch smashed, petrol cap smashed, front fairing bracket bent. rear hanger broken
headlights missing, flat back tyre, end can missing...oh and the mirrors are gone!

Anyways the bike is rebuilt and awaiting tyres, not knowing much about the characteristics of the bike when i started it up and put it into first gear the revs increased, is this for the benefit of new rider? or is there an issue with the bike?.

Its normal behavior. Yes its an anti stall thing for green riders I guess, helps them not stall out.
