Hi everyone!

My name is Rachael, and I'm the proud owner of a blue 2015 R3!

This is my very first motorcycle, and I'm extremely excited to see where this sport takes me. I took the MSF basic course at the beginning of July, and after a few weeks of research and sitting on many bikes I finally picked the R3.

The dealership will be delivering the bike later this week. I can't wait! :D

Welcome!! I highly recommend getting some protective gear and wearing it. When I was a new rider many years ago, I did not know the importance of protective gear and nobody ever gave me the advice.

Ride Safe and enjoy your new bike!

Way to go Rachael, there is nothing I like better(almost) than seeing a chick on a bike, and not on the back of one.

Thanks for the advice! I actually purchased all my gear before I even began researching bikes. Even with the nasty heat we get here I'll never ride without a single piece of gear :)

That is definitely the way to go, around here it can get hairy with traffic, and yeah the heat is pretty bad, but you get used to it when riding, and it's not bad if you can keep moving.
Hope to see you around. Ride safe!

I purchased mine from Woods Cycle Country in New Braunfels; I received exceptional service from them. The guy I talked to at Kents did a good job turning me off from the dealership by pushing me to get a GSXR-750

Yeah...they were the only ones to call me back and the guy I worked with was really nice all the way up until the point I signed the papers then I felt like they just wanted me to get my stuff and get the **** out.
