Oh nos, The headlights!

Hey everyone, I came from a 600cc street bike and a 125 ybr before that. However I did not know that my r3 will only have one headlight on at all times. silly dealer did not show me that, and i thought I bought my bike with a faulty headlight.

turns out many sports bike have only one on. This sucks, no wonder when I was driving my car I was thinking "Poor bike behind me has only one headlight on, he better not get caught up with the police, they'll fine him". Turns out thats the standard  With sports bikes at least.

In the UK, our laws dictate that we must have a minimum of one dipped headlight, or high beam, so literally you can have two dipped and two high beams as long as one of them is functioning, oh and they have to be WHITE. Or maybe I am wrong, but here is a screenshot of the regulation perhaps you can understand it better than me! LINK LINK LINK

One friend told me its reality and I have to live with it, however I want that changed :( so I was told I have several options

1- Change light settings by running high beam, and lowering it to the point of not blinding others, which sucks because in case you needed the high beams in tough times, you need to stop and reset them to default.

2- Buy an HID kit? there are so many, each thread here sends me to an expired eBay link, is there any guanine community approved HID kit to solve this problem? that follows the standards? and above all, that doesn't void motorcycle insurance or warranty?

3- make a hollow reflector that sends low beam light to the other side of the headlights to imitate both are on, thats purely stupid, because I think thats unlawful and both headlights wont look the same.

4- just live with it.

Any advice? Drop your 2 cents my fellow newbies.

Agree with Tal. #4 Dont see anything wrong with the stock config.
I love the angel eyes/ projectors.
But if you are looking for cheap and easy and good
then check out these DDM tuning headlights: http://ddmtuning.com/
I wish I knew Anunaki had headlights before I bought my eBay ones as the Anunaki headlights are dope looking!
If you do want the cool projector headlights be prepared to spend a good amount of time getting them on :)
I've been looking for this forever. I'm interested but have some questions. Is there any way I could do this myself do you know? And how long will it take to get to me, I live in LA Cali.
Thanks. If anything send me a message. If it seems legit I'll buy it by the end of the month.
I'd look into DDM Tuning if you want HID's. That's probably the best bet to go, other than that, just live with it.
Fastest shipping method to Cali:
-AIR mail (2 weeks door to door delivery)
Not recommend to do this by yourself, bring the headlight to your local (certified) mechanic, installation will be fairly quick.

This is do it yourselfable install, I do not have this exact kit (wish I saw it earlier) but, if you have a bit of electrical knowledge and auto mechanic knowledge you should be fine. It took me about 8-10 hrs total to install my different brand asymbly.

My kit (not this one) came with an h3 wiring harness so I had to do custom electrical, also had to remove most plastic.

If you do not have basic electrical knowledge take it to a shop!

Again, I do not have this kit, I have I different kit.

Would installing White light versions of Anunaki or DDM void the warranty by Yamaha guys? Also both of these headlights are road legal ?
We use brand new OEM yamaha headlight for our builds. No pirate copy
i did number 1 and 2.. it works fine for me lol
