I took some clear packing tape and covered over the gap at the bottom of the windscreen I get less buffeting on my helmet and consequently less noise. Has anyone else done this? Why is the gap there anyway?
Google California Scientific for an explanation of the hole. Taping it mave worked for you because you may be a different height than the designers built the bike for.
I am 5'8". I have a noisy helmet and thus wear earplugs all the time. That's what the difference was to me with the hole covered, less noise. As far as speed, I'm talking about highway riding, say 60 -65.
