Pulled the trigger!
Hi all! SoCal checking in...
I totaled my first bike after 6 months of riding when an SUV decided to cut me off and go into my lane as my light turned green. So I had no choice but to swerve to dodge him and hit the middle divider. What the 2 witnesses say is that I flew like Superman over the handlebars and landed on my face! Good thing I was wearing full gear and full face helmet. I woke up facedown on the street and tried to get on my bike and get going again, but my bike was done. I, thankfully, escaped with just a concussion and bruising.
Sooooo....3 weeks later here I am. Brand new owner of a 2015 Blue R3
officially 2 days in and love being back on 2 wheels again! I do miss having a slipper clutch, but this bike def has more Oomph in it as I commute on the freeway and need more passing powre in SoCal traffic.
