Hi all, I am thinking of buying a new 2016 R3 this week, the dealer quoted me $5,950 out the door, including the first service. Is this a good price?

Dealers typically try to get around $6k OTD for a 2016, and $5k OTD for a 2015.

It's not a bad price. If it's worth it to you, get it. It will be tough to find it significantly cheaper somewhere else. Dealers typically try to stay within 5% of each other whenever possible.

Is it worth your time to run around, and haggle? You could be out riding your new bike.

Thanks CBR, I too didnt think it was a bad price, and in hindsight what you stated as to how much my time is worth is true as well. I will likely pick it up this weekend. Cheers!

I know different parts of the country get some different prices. But here in Ohio I've been quoted at 2 places so far. OTD Price of $58xx, and $52xx for brand new left over 2015 Team color R3's. There's 2 more dealers that are within 30-40 min drive for me so I'll be checking them out either Tuesday or this weekend.
