We can use our creative licence to at least imagine what the R3 could or should be like...

Engine

R25: 249cc Liquid Cooled Parallel Twin
CBR300R: 286cc Liquid Cooled Single

Power/Torque

R25: 36 hp/22.1 Nm
CBR300R: 30 hp/ 27 Nm

Weight

R25: 166 kg
CBR300R: 167 kgs

Wheelbase

R25: 1380 mm
CBR300R: 1380 mm

I wouldn't expect much to change on the R3 aside form a longer stroke, bumping power and torque figures to 40 hp/25 Nm respectively?

dimensionally they are nearly identical indeed. Those visuals are great cheers! I'm excited because the CBR250 is arguably the best handling bike in segment, some people will say ninja because it has a reputation as being faster, but the CBR is actually more nimble and poised. So I wonder if Yamaha will be able to match those dynamics? ;)

That is true but I think it also depends on what you want in a bike so if it's nimbleness then CBR is it.

Compare to the CBR the R25 is far superior. Compare to the Ninja 300 it is pretty sad. Hopefully R3 is improved
