Hey guys,

Look like there is going to be a special edition for the R25. No spec yet to release but the special edition look like the protype with Akrapovic racing exhuast. Meaning it will have more HP and probably some other cool gadget. Could this be the R25 SE in third world but R3 for US\EU? Maybe.

Cool that this will be on offer, and I like that it has the concept design too. I am not so sure that this is exactly what the r3 will be in the US though. I think that the styling of the r3 will still be pretty similar to the styling of the r25.

Interesting as the livery has modified slightly! Whats funny though is that all the Blue R25's have GP where R25 should be...

much prefer the white belly pan and tail section...

Wow it sounds really burly with the Akrapovic exhaust on there. That's a really nice note that I would be happy with riding through the streets with. This special edition does not come with the akrapovic exhaust though, does it? I think that was just added on here for fun.

Basically if you buy any motorcycle and then add a akra exhaust to it, it will be an awesome bike. In some cases the exhaust might cost just as much as the bike if you go with a really nice akra and a really inexpensive bike. Anyone planning on buying the akra exhaust for their r3 eventually?

Yeah sadly it will cost a lot but I think if it's a bike you really like and have the coin for it then you might as well go through with the idea of getting one.

And that would be welcomed by most of the public I'm sure. So often concepts deviate from the concept quite a bit, but if you are able to keep it close to the concept without it costing way too much money, I think it is totally worth it.

I don't see to much there akro exhaust, decals and what I bet is the seat cowl to replace the rear seat on any r25 note the pass pegs are still there

That's how SE always come with lol. (Exhaust, maybe better brake pad, seat, pegs, and a lot of decals.)

That SE blue paint scheme really pops and helps sport up the look of the production R25. I hope they offer that scheme with the production R3. The standard R25 paint schemes look a bit disappointing IMHO, especially the white with blue which doesn't measure up to the blue scheme on the prototype.

I totally agree with this, the color scheme helped quite a bit. Something easy enough for them to carry over.
