R3 Color Fairing Part Number

8936 Views 14 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  bweezy
I'm trying to figure out the MotoGP edition panel part numbers but I can't translate the Thai Yamaha page. Can anyone help with this because I found a source that could order these for me but they need the exact part numbers? In the mean time, I thought it would be helpful for people that want to change the color of their bikes. Here's the 2015 model break down. This is only the color panels, or any of the black plastic pieces with decals. I'll update this once I figure out the matte grey, the Movistar edition and 2016 models come out.

Bump this! Still looking for part numbers.
Numerous sites out there with a quick Google for "Yamaha R3 Parts" - try this one.

Thanks Stirz but I'm looking for the motogp edition fairings and I can't navigate the Thai or Indonesia sites. Really I just want all color matching fairings. If I cant get anyone to help me out, I might just buy the matte grey fairings and do my own decals but I really want to go this route.

Anunaki offered to get it done. Hes in Thailand and can get a good local price. He will ship them to you just PM him and get the prices.
Already messaged him and he says he's not authorized to sell the gp edition. I have another dealer that can get them but they want exact part numbers.
Fair enough, do you know what color the fairing is underneath the graphics? Is it blue underneath there?

I am with you on the silver. I am trying to come up with different wraps and changes to make. It was hard to leave the dealer with the blue. The silver tank stripe was awful at first glance. The positive is I am 100% certain the Highway Patrol units are looking at me a fraction as much as they were when I was on a red R1. The change is staggering. Its like I am invisible to them. There has been many times there are lasering and they dont come after me at 75mph. There is no question that the blue flies under the radar so to speak.

Hows that helmet lock treating you? That thing sure operated smooth, great piece of kit there.
I'm almost positive the fairings are blue and the long piece behind the fairing is white. I really want the fairings just for the blue so that I can throw on my own decals for later on. I actually haven't installed the helmet lock yet, been busy with work and the last time I worked on my bike I got lazy after installing PCV, auto tune, windscreen, filter and exhaust. I also removed the silver gas cover and switched it with the black cover. It look 100 times better and now I just need to remove the rest of the silver off the bike!
