Hey guys! So I think we can all agree that the r3 is a pleasing bike when it comes to looks, especially the blue and silver variant. However, is it just me or does anyone else think the blue rims on the blue and silver variant kind of offset the bike? I know its an easy change but honestly something simple like black might enhance the bikes looks. I dont know, thats just my opinion! Feel free to drop your comments below!

I think the Blue Rims are the main seller for that colour.

I was tossing up between the Blue and the Red, but went with the Red as its what appealed to me the most.
yea the blue rim made me wanted the blue one. But the silver really turned me down for the blue
I still went with the red(fell in love the first sight)
I think the blue would look better with matching silver rims. However that being said, the blue is the one color I absolutely do not like. I am going for red and white (which would look amazing with white rims).
Under the parking lot light tonight my bike popped because of the blue rims. Was walking out of class and got 2 compliments on how sick it looks and how fast does it go lol. I laughed and said it's only a 300, not a 1000. You can break the blue up with rim tape. My only gripe is all the silver, but I did just order silver with blue levers. I really have grown to like it. They had a red one on the dealership floor, but not my cup of tea. So I opted to wait another day as they had the blue one at another dealer. The black one I think I like most now, but I wouldn't ride a black bike at night. I'm one of those if I'm going to do something, I try to limit my risk of failure in the beginning. BLUE IS THE FASTEST COLOR lol

I went with Titanium levers with blue adjusters on the 2nd go around because all the blue bits I bought were very different colors from each other.

I did the rim tape and got rid of all the silver by using the white fairings and black tank panel of the Red R3. You can do this for $152 from procaliber.com. Photos soon.

Also removed the stickers on the windshield cowling.

I'm thinking of having the wheels powder-coated white when I have them off to change the tires over to S-20 EVOs.

I also changed out the front fender and rear tail pieces with the black ones of the Raven R3. They were takeoffs from a Forum member.

My R3 is now a Tri-brid, blue, white and black.

Can't wait to see pics of this. Sounds awesome!
