So it seems as if the reason why the bike has been delayed as much as it has is because of the port closures according to one of the reviews?

Thanks for posting Maverick. I like how the riding position is described as upright with lower pegs for a comfortable riding position for shorter riders like me, and that the bike is designed for the street. The first videos always showed the bike on the track, but finally, its true function becomes clear...it's a street bike. And a darn nice one it appears.

Strange that the Canadian press launch is all the way in Alabama. Guess that's because its pretty cold here still. They could have tried Vancouver though. Glad that the official launch is underway though.

Per americanshipper.com .."cargo backup that developed at (west coast) port during the contract negotiations between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and employers is improving should clear within two months." Hopefully Yamaha diverted some shipment to East Coast lol.
