I was about to go on a ride and started my R3 to warm it up and about 10 min or so later it just shut itself. so I'm not sure what to do now.

also it has a full tank of gas, it was not overheating, and the kick stand was down & was in neutral (obviously)

It is in the manual. If it's left idling for too long, I believe 10 minutes it will shut itself down. It's a safety/ forgetful thing.

So no worries, it's supposed to.

It will shut itself down if it is laid down as well.

THANK YOU!! :D i was scanning through the manual just now and couldn't find anything so i decided to check my post, thanks for the help man! :)
