does anyone if the Raven version is getting delivered in the first models? seems like it only the blue or red. I have a deposit on the R3 but still havent decided either to go with blue or black. Wanted to see it live before making a decision but if the raven will take longer to arrive honestly idk if i want to wait even longer

Black seems like its always the cheapest color to fix if you had a crash. Im second guessing getting mine in blue.

I'm sure its only a matter of time aftermarket plastics are available not to mention u can always vinyl anything in any color or pattern fairly easily

I like the blue, but ordered the black. I like the way the blue and red R3 front fender and rim contrast against the black tire. In the black version, that contrast isn't there to attract your eye and it makes the front end look more pointed out and bare (to me).
Overall, I chose the black to keep low profile while riding. Although the blue looks great, it's just too "race" looking for my style.

Black looks awesome and the red accents are a nice touch too. Can't really go wrong with black. It's also the easiest to match with gear.

Picked up my wife's raven R3 last night.

Didn't realize that in the sun, it has gold metallic flakes.

Sorry for the bad picture, it was getting dark and this is the only pic I have that is in focus. Don't mind her jeans, she has several motorcycle pants but she just wanted to ride it around the neighborhood streets to get a feel for the bike (I had to ride it home on the freeway for her) and didn't feel like changing.

I got my r3 2 weekends ago. The dealership I went to was only given 2 bikes for the year they could sale. The black and the blue one. With a 2nd blue as a demo bike. I was at first looking at getting the red, but also had a liking for the blue color. This is my very first bike I ever owned. After doing my safety course 2 summers ago haha. So I'm happy I finally have mine. I'm still working on getting a complete set of riding gear. But I can only afford so much every weekend. But I'll have everything in about a week.
