Y-Shop in Australia has some new items for the R3. Very pricey, though. Prices are in Australian Dollars. 1 Australian dollar = $0.78 U.S.

Prices also include GST of 10% that would be deducted from price if the buyer is overseas.

That's $230 in U.S. dollars. Still......

Though if you figure it works as both a replacement for a tank bag AND a rear seat cowl, maybe it's not that bad?
I tried to set up an account to see what shipping to the US would be. It seems like they only allow customers (account set-ups) within Australia. I'll wait till they hit E-bay!

I've had that problem before with overseas companies. I just ended up calling or emailing them and they always were willing to ship to the U.S., but this site is an official Yamaha Australia site so they might not want to ship overseas...

If they do hit eBay they will probably be cheaper, eventually.

I noticed that their prices also include the GST (general sales tax) of 10%. You wouldn't have to pay that for something that's shipped out of the country, so it would be about $210.00 plus shipping costs.
Storage space on the R3 is at a premium. I would pay $250 for the rear seat cargo if it were available today.
My tank cargo is getting me by for now - wallet, keys, sunblock, rain jacket, phone, maps, etc. Wait a few months and I'm sure so much more will be available. These R3's, in my opinion, are going to be the next big thing.
What I really want is a pannier frame with a couple slim hard cases made by Givi for a real road trip. Ninja 300 has these options, it's only a matter of time before the R3 catches up.
Any idea if this rear rack,

B04-F48D0-00 (Rear Carrier Out of stock) $218.75
Fits:
2015 YZF-R3

Is a OEM Yamaha part? I tried the pn in the USA parts but not listed as a valid number.

Thanks
