removing decals on matte

I would like to remove the stickers on my bike to make it look more clean and a little bit more stealthy and cool :)

I have read a few posts about removing the decals but wondering if removing it from matte would be difficult?

Anyone have some recommendations

I recently bought the raven fairings to replace the white on my R3. It came with the red R3 decals. I used a small bucket filled with the hottest water from the sink and a sponge. Soak sponge and place it on the sticker. Wait 30-60 seconds (or more), the adhesive will soften, and you can peel it off, leaving no residue. Only peel what was under the sponge. Reload water to the sponge, and move the it to the next area and repeat. HOT water was the key.

Nice tip with the hot water. I have always used a hair dryer for removing decals.
I wouldnt take the decals off. Its going to make your bike look plain, almost like its just primer on the bike lol.

Agreed. I don;t know if it would have the subdued, stealth/minimal look you are looking for.

There is someone in the paint thread who painted his fairings matte gray, and as Kojiro said it did look a little bit plain. Everyone's taste is different though, but try and find that pic. It is almost exactly what you plan on doing and you should see it before you decide.
Trying to find the photo but no luck, im mainly thinking about just removing the stickers above the headlights, probably keep the rest
