Hey everyone, if you haven't looked lately. Tires are on sale at revzilla.
Sucks. Hopefully next payday I'll have enough cash left for a set. Anyways I'm going to be going through the tires forum here and see what people are posting on what tires they
Would get for upgrades.

I think Bridgestone S20's are available. That would be my choice.

Pirelli is also running a 40 dollar rebate on a set of tires until the end of may, which makes the rossos a great deal. Don't know of any rebates for the Bridgestones

It's strange, the S20's in 140/70 are $140 for the rear, while the 180/55 is $106.

The Pirelli Diablo Rosso II's are $110 for the rear in 140/70. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/pirelli-diablo-rosso-ii-rear-tires
Economy of scale. 180/55 is very common, they can sell a bunch at a small profit margin and make big money. They will sell far less of the 140/70 so they have to have a larger margin to make same $

Ya their prices are high. The "sale" is just them telling you they're "marked x-percent under retail" and the prices for our sizes are higher than most of the other major online sources.

I started to order from my favorite: Motorcycle Superstore; but they were out of the rear so I got a front and rear ordered from Bike Bandit this morning - $202 shipped.
