New owner! Yesterday I ordered a blue R3 and should be riding it in a few days. I test rode it for 10 miles and while the speed part was OK the handling the toy like feel of such a light and nimble bike sold me on it. I am parting with my Yamaha FZ6R for this. The FZ is way more serious of a bike, sports touring I would call it. The handling of the FZ requires way more attention and care since its 470 pds full of fuel which to me is not light at all, you felt it often
So I am back to riding a small bike. I've had them all from 250 all the way up to 1200 and now back to square one.
Will post some pics later.

I made an about face. I went back to the dealer and sat on both bikes. The FZ6R's riding stance, riding position cannot compare to the R3's sporty feel. So I put a deposit on it and will bring it home when the weather clears up.

None, before the Yamaha Route.
Mainly looking for cheap, practical, great handling.
The CBR300- forget about it
Ninja 300- don't like the dash design ( its dated ) plus it has a short 7500 mile valve check interval

So the R3 was the only one, 4990 asking msrp. Come on nothing out there looks like it for the price.
