I was stuck in the beginner group to start the day off this weekend.

I saw a rider with all the goodies on a R1.

Once we got going, i could tell he was a newer rider.

I passed him safely the first chance I got

In the long straight he passed me back.

So i passed him back, then he never bothered to pass me again.

There were some others with bigger CC bikes that I was able to pass, which feels great.

later in the day, i got bumped up the next group. So I dont think I was passing anyone last 2 sessions of the day.

It's lots of fun isn't it? I'm nowhere near "fast" i think, but when I was still in the states, there were always those riders on their big liter bikes with no actual riding skill getting passed up through corners and then just making up for it in the straights. Here in Japan I feel like every track rider is fast, as there is no A-B-C group.

Going over to Japan for the motogp at twin ring and throwing in some track time is on my bucket list.

ok well, doing to all of the motogp stops are on my bucket list.

So far, COTA in 2017 was the first one I checked off the list.

Do they make riders work their way up the CC chain like britain?

Licensing here is tiered also I believe. I went through mine on base though and haven't looked up how the civilians do it, so not 100% sure.

If you head over let me know!
