I came across this video today: https://youtu.be/ZgxFscusWe8
There are a lot of great safety skill tips in this video, but the real pearler is the one demonstrated by chance with the blue truck and unexpected pedestrian. It starts about 4 min 10 sec into the video. Good lesson for today. Let's share such videos and lessons!

Great video. The BikeSafe Police ride-a-long program in the U.K. is a great program. Wish we had something like that here in more/all U.S. states like they do in Illinois with the State Troopers there.

Here's another BikeSafe video:

And here's the website for U.K. forum members. Also check out their "Advice Centre" tab for tips.

They're having their annual Show & Track Experience Day this Saturday, the 11th of July at Castle Combe Race Track, near Chippenham in Wiltshire.

"Building on the success of 2014 where over 400 riders receive a 1hr assessed road ride with a Police motorcyclist followed by a 15 minute track experience riding their own machine around the Castle Combe Circuit". Cost is 30 GBP, book it on the site. The show itself is free.............

And lastly, here is the site page showing which Police Force locations offer the BikeSafe ride-a-long courses

LOL, at the beginning he mentions that he'll prolly make this a 10-12 minute long video. 47:24 later, as he's wrapping it up, I'm thinking this is the uncut version...
He had some pretty good advice though.
As a brand new out-of-the-cage rider, these videos are helping me out a lot. Thanks guys.

Big fan of CSS. Been there numerous times now. It helps immensely.
Thanks for posting the video. As much as a video is informative it's best for people to take the course. A lot of times your style of riding is different from the person who is on the video so that is where the coach comes in the course. I am planning to take cali superbike school training probably next summer.
