Do we have moderators who can delete all of these spammer posts and delete the accounts?

On other forums I belong to, they are set up to have a 2 day wait and 2 post in the intro area before posting is allowed elsewhere. This stops most of the spam.

I do admit it's aggravating having to sort through all this BS, and I haven't clicked on a single one, but some of those titles are pretty dang funny.

Probably. And they are probably busy enjoying their Father's Day with their families and will get back to moderating shortly. In the mean time, it also possible for forum members to simply ignore the spam posts, or to go ahead and order the special black magic, money making, gay love spell. Who doesn't need one of those?

Seriously? Put some hoops in place for new members as mentioned above.

2 Day waiting period and a 2 post in the introduction section..

This is what they did on the another Forum... Not many spammers bother us...

"Once you join the forum, you must post twice in Member Introductions and wait 48 hours after your 2nd post before you can post into the other sections of the forums.

This was done in order to combat spammers.

It would be okay, if its just like 2-5 Threads... But they spam really more than 15 Threads... So you can't even see the real Active Topics...

We just need a Security like a Captcha to prevent it..

Just make it so each new topic posted automatically goes into the 'which slipon exhaust' , or 'which is the fastest fender eliminator' or 'ABS' section,
then separated later.
Same amount of wok.

More like two threads, actually - Introductions and Gen. Discussion. Show me the other 10+ or so threads you describe and I'll purge those too.

I believe he means they make more then 2-5 threads on a specific board for example general discussion had like 18 pages worth the other day

Any option and/or functions, that can stop the tread spammers.. There are some different opportunities to prevent the jack-ass to spam the forum with nonsense treads.

There are some Anti-spam plugins for the forum-modules and / or some restrictions to make for new members.. I know that some of them will be a kind of hassle for real true members.. but if we can get some kind of balance between letting new members become true members with the opportunity to create new treads and also avoid the fake new members to spam with treads. .

Some of the restrictions that can be turn on/off (regarding to the forum software : (I know you have some of them installed already)

. CAPTCHA
. Require email confirmation before allowing someone to post.
. Enable anti-spam plugins.
. Restriction for how many "hours/or days-to-wait" the member has to wait after "true member confirmation " and the option to create new treads.
. Detection/monitoring for multiply attempt within "minutes / hours / etc" based on username, words/characters in subject, IP-address and so on..
. ETC..

My point is.. there a several options to prevent/ make is harder for the spammers to do "their job" and hopefully they find it to hard for them to spam, and "go away/ find some other places to be."

We have jacktards posting anywhere from 20 to 130 each the last couple of days... brutal.

It's insane. I've seen at least (15 pages, on mobile device. I just pull up "active topics) of spam.

P.s. To those individuals that are in charge of running and moderating, your job is going to be super easy soon after everyone has jumped ship to a new forum.

It needs rectified. These are problems are not from growing pains, they are from neglect of the forum itself.

I sent the forum admin another PM and have only heard crickets. They are not even replying to me anymore.
