Seeing how high this bike revs, it wouldn't surprise me if I'd swap sprockets as soon as I can.
I much prefer to rev this bike to 5k rpm on the highway, than running it at 7.5k.
Saves gas, wear and tear, and since I won't be racing it, just need the cc to get to 85mph comfy, I probably will need a speedo healer.

You think the speedo will be dead on, or 10% over?
If 10% over, a sprocket swap will probably solve one issue.

That's ok, but what you have to remember is this bike does like to rev. It's power band is made at higher RPM's. Since it takes quite a bit of umph to maintain 85 due to wind drag, it would be best to have the engine around 7K. Down at 5 its really kinda lugging at that speed. It will wear an engine more to lug it than to let it rev.

I made a thread about this earlier but I can see how happy this engine is revving and how it smoothes out at higher RPM's.
