Any tips on how to remove these from the factory? I'm looking to replace them with some CRG Shorty Levers but they are in there pretty tight!!

Hey!! Yeah, I've got the installation part down but I am having difficulty turning that larger screw to remove the cable. Was wondering if anyone else ran into that same issue!!

Thanks again!

I could not get that part turned with my bare hands whatsoever. I had to put a rag over it and turn it using a pair of pliers to get them lined up to pull the cable out

A flat head or coin in the slot will turn it pretty easily as well.

I tried the flat head initially and it kinda marred the finish a bit. It's no big deal. I went the rag and plier route and it took 2 seconds. Should posted before trying lol. But I've successfully installed the lever!

Thanks

Thanks bro! I tried that and it worked like a charm. Only wish I posted for help before trying other ways. I went with a flat head and it kinda marred the finish of the adjuster nut. Not a big deal.

Thanks again!!
