Do you plan on using it as a race bike? otherwise me thinks those suspensions are overkill for 'normal' street riding but if $$ is not an issue I say go for it LOL more power to you mate. Don't forget good rubbers to go with the suspension.
Was at an AFM event. Saw an R3 with stock exhaust and suspension turning faster lap times than a different R3 with a Spears rear shock and Andreani cartridges. I'm willing to bet Rossi would own everyone on a stock R3 than someone whos spent a few grand on suspension. Ride the crap out of it than replace when worn.
