off the top of my head all i can think of near the front is the center triangle bulb as thats pretty much the only running light we have really there probably are other cables in that general area though
Switched Power Source
Where's a good switched 12V power source near the battery or towards the front of the bike? Anyone have a favorite wire they like

That does work. In the end, I used the light that ran back to the license plate holder since it's right near the battery.
What are you planning on using it for? I just got through shopping for some LED lighting stuff and decided to tap off of the plate wires to activate a relay that powers up my 1-6 fuse panel and got a grounding bus to.
