TechSpec tank pads

Anyone here installed the tech spec tank guards? My knees don't go up that high on the tank.
It appears from pictures that these grip only covers the tank portion which is fine however another purpose for me is to also grip the bike. My knees goes up just a tad on the 'tank' part. Most of my surface contact on my thigh would be the black plastic piece underneath the tank.
Do these grips come with additional pads for the black plastic part right under the tank?
Hope my post make sense. I need to know before I purchase.
