Testing at Chuckwalla Sunday, anyone else going?

Well, I'm finally moved into my new house (well, almost), yay! So I will finally have some time and somewhere to work again to get going on this bike.

First order of business is getting her on the racetrack in stock form (well, stock suspension and controls) to get a baseline before I start changing everything. I'll be doing a half day this Sunday at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway with Track Xperience. Is anyone else coming out this weekend? It's going to be HOT!!!!!! 107 sunday! ouch! But I can't wait, and it will be my last chance to get a good baseline at Chuckwalla before changing the suspension so I have to go. Plus, I'll get to feel the power with the Akrapovic full system and Bazzaz tuning, that should be awesome :)

So far the bike is stock except for the Bazzaz Z-Fi, Akrapovic full exhaust system, and I will be putting on a Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa 110 front tire and Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 140 back tire at the track. And I still have to change out the coolant for water wetter and remove the lights and mirrors. But I'll be using the stock clipons, rearsets, throttle, and suspension. And unfortunately, I haven't had time to install the Annitori quickshifter yet, maybe I'll have time tomorrow.
Have fun out there! I would join you but I'm all the way over in Texas so its a little far for me. My R3 will get its first track outing on June 21st at motorsport ranch in Cresson TX.

My set up is the opposite of yours. Still on stock exhaust/fueling but already have AK20's in the forks, JRI shock, clip ons and 415 chain. Will be running the same tire combo as you.

Where did you get the tires? I can't find the SC in 110 anywhere.
You'll probably have to get them from a distributor at a track event. I get all my race tires from Dale at Racer's Edge Performance, he's based in Las Vegas.

Thanks Jesse, I'll check them out.
He'll ship them too, but you may have a Pirelli rep closer and you can just pick them up.
I probably do have one, haven't really checked, not going to COTA on next track day, not ready.

John Hutchison with south central race center has them is stock and is located in TX.
www.scracecenter.com is the website and that size is listed with price.
Excellent, thanks RC.
How did it go at Chuckwalla? Did you make it out?
Sorry for the delay, been unloading from the move last week. I'll post up my ride report tomorrow, if I get my pictures from Cali Photography by then!

Sounds great, looking forward to seeing them, and reading your results.
Anyone making it out to Miller at end of July for WERA/USBA round? Inducements could be arranged by PM - they will be running the perimeter configuration with 2/3 mile front straight, so you can probably see what the R3 will top out at.... Track day the Friday before (July 24-26). Excellent facility if you've never been.

We should have pit space available for a couple if you need it.
