The waiting period!

Hey guys and gals, my name is Greg or BisTro and I'm from Ontario and yesterday I purchased my very first motorcycle! A new, 2016 Yamaha r3 (duh) in the white and red. I'm pumped but the bike is being ordered and this period between buying the bike and actually getting it is already killing me and it's only been one day! Anyways just wanted to introduce myself and say what's up! Can't wait to be apart of this community, gonna be a blast!

here's the picture of it from the website! probably taking off the front decal, as well as the big one on the side faring.

Welcome from England. How long have you got to wait ?
Nice! Been hoping to see some pics of the new red/white.
Congrats and welcome! I do like this new white and red colour scheme. I am also curious what your wait time is like.
My matte gray took almost 4 months to arrive. Hopefully yours goes smoother than mine.
the bike will be in any
time between now and the end of May but I can't ride it until June 20th, when I get my M2 long wait my friends... also updated picture of it without the decals that I threw together on photoshop! thanks for the warm welcome

That gives you plenty of time to start planning and buying mods. My fender eliminator and Coffman shorty exhaust were here 2 weeks before the bike. Since then I have added mirror extenders, blacked out the windscreen, installed reflective rim tape and a couple of other minor mods. Frame sliders are on the way and ordering spools and a few other goodies like LED signals as well.

yea LED signals and headlights, as well as tinting the windscreen are my first priorities. The bikes coming with a fender eliminator so thank god I won't have to ever look at that god awful rear fender

Find some instructions on YouTube for removing the windscreen. It is not as straight forward as you would think to remove it properly.
