Can't wait to hear what they sound like once they are installed. This is something to look forward to.

Found this while google searching today.

Very nice sound!

That's the best exhaust note I've heard from an R3 YT video.

You'll have to let us know when you get it installed. Post a video of the exhaust note too.

It sounds great in this video too. There are a few options out there for after market exhausts. Most of them sound good though. No flops that I have heard.

Definitely. Another forum member Jbluetooth is going to set something up with Bazzaz so we can all get some maps created for the full exhaust system. It would also be nice to get some comparisons between the Akrapovic slip on and the Yoshi R77 off the same bike.

Hoping they can post some before/after dyno numbers.

I'd like to eventually see some ride-by videos to compare how they sound to other drivers on the road.
yosh full exhaust + install video

for anyone that is looking for a full exhaust system or wants to know how to install a full exhaust on the r3. ive found an install video for the full exhaust for anyone thats interested. i found it pretty helpful

Definitely sounds thousand times better than slip-ons. Probably order it next week or two.
Really sick!
Will get it after I cross the 1000 mile. Any dyno sheets? I couldn't find it on the website. Do we need to remap the ECU or it will adapt to it?

i dont think there is any dyno sheets yet. and im pretty sure you would have to remap or get a power comander. you dont need to get it right away but its recommended

It will be smart to wait for the PCV and some maps for it.

Maps and power commander be damned. I placed an order from STG today for the full carbon system and some new steel brake lines. It may be the wife's bike but I fully intend to trick it out.

right on. gotta make the wifie look good on her bike to make all the guys jealous hahaha ;)
I emailed Yoshimura R&D about Fuel Controller usage on the R3 for Yoshimura full system and this is what Don Franzen from Yoshimura emailed me back:

Thank you for your interest in the Yoshimura products. That exhaust was designed to work with the stock settings on the bike. Customers that are looking to fine tune the motorcycle for racing use have added fuel controllers on some applications.
I hope this helps you with your question.

Thank you,

Don Franzen

I posted this elsewhere on here, but felt it is necessary to post it in this topic because I'm sure someone will ask. I emailed Yoshimura R&D regarding installation of Yoshimura R77 full system onto the R3 and whether or not a fuel controller was necessary. Here is the reply I got from Don Franzen, I just copy and pasted it here:

I'll be installing this along with a few other things this weekend. Hopefully, I can get a video of a ride-by for everyone.
