Share what you did today with the R3 community.

Example: Just got driven rearsets.

Example: Gave the R3 a good wash and wax while the sun was still out.

Hello fellow r3 riders I got these headlight covers today. It was a surprise to see they turn pinkish when the lights are turned on. I'm not too bothered :)
Nice!

I got these mounted yesterday. Pyramid Plastics covers and I added the Terminator/Tech Eyes. The eyes camouflage the 4 mounting squares, too.

They're perforated and they do cut light emitted by a small amount but you can leave High AND Low beams on without blinding people and they come off easily for night rides.

Safety note: Both lights on with the eyes installed is as effective as (maybe more so than) low beam on by itself during daylight hours.

Check their store. They have 6 different style eyes available for the R3.

Just did an oil, filter, and crush washer change. 677 mi on the ODO. May need to work on the chain tomorrow as I took it for a spin around the block after oil change I heard a noise coming from the chain. Didn't continue looking into it as it got pretty hot in the garage. Wish me luck it's something simple.

I put on that steel front brake line. Haven't had it out for a ride yet.

Good thing someone posted the torque spec for the caliper here, since I don't have my service manual yet, and we took the whole system off to reduce risk of spillage when removing the old hose. Thanks for that, whoever it was!

Eh, just a couple of hours each way - I've done longer round trips in one day on the R3. It was just wanting to stay late at our destination, and taking roads that are fun in the daytime, not so much in the dark. Plus, it was a good chance to see how the bike did loaded up, without a lot at stake if something didn't work out. It was all good. I definitely noticed the luggage, not only the weight but also the wind drag from the width, but it was fine. Good weekend. :)
