Where to buy body plastics

Hi,

This is my first post, and as you will know, am a newbie.

I just dropped my black R3 just after 3 weeks of purchase. Is nothing important but the plastics on the right side are scratched now (one is broken).

Where is the best (cheapest) place to get the parts?

I live in Los Angeles, CA

I appreciate your help

Welcome to the forum. Dropping the bike is no fun, good to hear there is only cosmetic dammage.

There are topics started by forum members with the same problem. Maybe there is someone who switched to alternative fenderparts that can help you out.

this is my last question: when i look for OEM parts on Kevin's website, there is 3 models for the R3
YFZR3FB
YFZR3FL
YFZR3FR

Are those different because the color? My bike is the black with red stripes, or there is another thing i have to check?

Buying take offs from a racer is the best bet, I'd sell you mine but they're blue. Maybe someone else has a black bike.

Hay Hun, unfortunately the bike is so new you won't get cheap parts!!! Taken me over two months for the extras I wanted to arrive as they are still developing them! Grrr

Prob best grit you're teeth, pay for bungs and wait?

Have you still got your blues? I low sided mine last night, absolutely filthy about it, I'm okay, i have only a few scratches, but the bike is a bit more scratched than me..
Front left fairing (blue/silver)
Bottom left fairing (black)
Tank (blue)

Those 3 parts got scratched.. I could cover them, but I would know I done the wrong thing by the bike. It deserves to be treated like a king!

I don't have any OEM bodywork left, sorry, sold it all together.

I see those complete body kits on ebay they sell from China. Not sure about the quality though. Might make good race plastic.

Hey, I ordered replacement fairings for my matte grey from webike. Much cheaper than dealerships in aus and arrived in a few days. Just finished replacing the scratched fairings today
