I went today to my ECU mapper and he says the ECU cant be accessed?

I have part no. B02-H591A-00-00

and the only ECU file I found is part no. 2MS-H591A-00-00

Which ecu is not accessable?

All ABS ecus are hardlocked?

yes. since non abs ecu works I doubt anyone will waste time unlocking the abs ecu.

IMO if you're going to buy an ECU you might as well get the standalone ecu by aracer rather than trying to find the 2ms version of the ecu.

Any 2MS ecu will work just fine, buy one and you'll be good.

the abs ecus have been used for a long time.

i have an abs bike and have definitely flashed my own ecu since 2019.

To answer the question, and specifically when using FTECU software, both abs and non abs ecus can be flashed, as long as you use the correct part number.
I know the Norton folks have had issues not being able to flash them. I flashed my ecu myself and just used the part number for abs ecus on the ftecu site. The issue is finding a canned map built for an abs bike that actually works. I’ve heard 2 wheel dyno works have been able to do it, but i don’t have personal experience.
