Since my bike is never going back to street legal.
Decided to do the woodcraft key delete.

Kind of a pain to get your hand in there.

tank cover needs to come off. and upper fairings need to be loosened.

If you do the smog block off plate upgrade, I would also just do the key delete , its all the same area.

The kill switch becomes the "key turn on" function.

Drilling out the rivets on the underside of the key switch, took about 6 different size drill bits. Started small. went up and up until finally the key switch broke free.

i now have more room under the triple and dropped some more weight.

and I dont ever have to have that o crap moment, did I forget the keys...

I did the same. Solid upgrade and money well spent for a track/race setup, in my opinion. I was annoyed from drilling the rivets, so I ended up cutting the entire ignition cylinder out at the mounts on the triple. So much faster and even more weight savings. ;)

I did the Motion Pro throttle and the plug and play kill switch and starter switch from Jesse (yamahar3racing) which eliminates the key switch. I love it!
