No tune or map necessary. On such a modest output engine, the difference between that filter and a normal paper filter would be negligible. Considering the price, you'd have to keep and reuse if for quite a few changes to break even.

As an extra bit of info if you are looking for something a bit more high end than K&N, the BMC filter is my #1 choice. They make a street performance version and a full race version.
