Thinking about it.... that would actually be more likely to happen. It's unusual for Yamaha to use the same headlights for the different models in the line up. But lets just say if they ever did it would be similar to the R125. At the end it will just have its own unique look you watch.
One can only wish...r6 headlights!

Shouldn't both of the headlights be on in this picture? One can only wish...
I agree with this, go with a single and it will be more narrow and even complement the overall design, something i would prefer.Shouldn't both of the headlights be on in this picture?
It seems unclear whether the r3 will get a split headlight, or just one main headlight for the middle. I think I might prefer the single headlight. I think that the split headlights make the bike look wider.
Point taken, but I still am a bigger fan of a single headlight instead of the split version. Regardless of what you think will be the case, what do you want to be the case?the yamaha r1 and r6 and r15 all have split headlights
why would the r25 and r3 be any different?

I always disliked that look too, im sure there's a mod that can be done, just never done it and not sure about the process. I bet if you look on a forum with older Yami's you can probably find a DIY someone posted and apply thatIf I am going to have a split dual headlight, I want to make it so that both headlights are on instead of just one. Having just one on looks stupid IMO.
Would it be hard to do that mod?
