It's unusual for Yamaha to use the same headlights for the different models in the line up. But lets just say if they ever did it would be similar to the R125. At the end it will just have its own unique look you watch.

I'd be a fan if they show up looking along the lines of the new R125, but we should probabaly hold off and wait to pass judgement considering the entire R-line of bikes is being revised for this year...

Although I do kinda think the most likely inspiration for R3 is going to be R6...

Shouldn't both of the headlights be on in this picture?

It seems unclear whether the r3 will get a split headlight, or just one main headlight for the middle. I think I might prefer the single headlight. I think that the split headlights make the bike look wider.
I agree with this, go with a single and it will be more narrow and even complement the overall design, something i would prefer.

Point taken, but I still am a bigger fan of a single headlight instead of the split version. Regardless of what you think will be the case, what do you want to be the case?

Idk i think single headlight is a bit oldschool... Even though the split headlight is still just one that lights up. I would definitely modify my headlight to hid with dual headlight.

If I am going to have a split dual headlight, I want to make it so that both headlights are on instead of just one. Having just one on looks stupid IMO.

Would it be hard to do that mod?
I always disliked that look too, im sure there's a mod that can be done, just never done it and not sure about the process. I bet if you look on a forum with older Yami's you can probably find a DIY someone posted and apply that
