YUP. They did recall for oil pump and clutch pressure plate replace.
They change for you new plate come with new NTN bearing.
The oil pump and plastic gear.

In this picture is the old parts are replaced.

I LOVE seeing pictures of PARTS. Actual parts. I want to see pics of the NEW parts, too!
( So I can see what is different about them. )

You cant see any difference with your bare eyes man. they look like the same (old and new).
This concerns me. Are they just putting the exact same parts back in it?

I thought the recall involved parts that were RE-DESIGNED.

Yeah, I LIKE it! I can see the new bearing is bigger. NICE.

I'm thinking the oil pumps have a weaker pressure-relief spring in them.
That is probably the difference. They open sooner, with less pressure, which equals less load on the plastic gears.

I rode my R3 tonight. Put about 60 miles on it.
Went with my friend who has the Gromasaki Z125 Pro.
We swapped bikes during the ride, just to mix it up. The Z125 is fun. So tiny!
