Can the rev limiter be raised from 12.5 to 13.5? I read the engine doesn't grenade until over 17k over on the N300 forum (I think that was you vulgr).
The owners manual states that you can set the shift light to come on at 13.5k, so I suspect the rev limiter doesn't kick in till then, even though redline is 12.5k. I'm breaking in my bike, so I can't test it.

I have a 2016 R3 and I'm almost late to work everyday so I'm constantly pushing my bike to full throttle at 5:50AM on 880 freeway, I hit 118mph but on my way home from work on 101 freeway I've hit 123mph then I let off because I still need my bike just depends on good wind intake it will go M4 street slayer exhaust is my only modification along with halo eyes lights

Are you believing thr OEM speedometer to make that 123 mph claim? Because if you are, be aware that the speedometer is wildly optimsitic. Testing has shown that my own R3 speedometer reads exactly 10% higher than actual (stock gearing and OEM-size tires), and I suspect that is typical. That would make your actual speed just under 112 mph.

p.s. GPS is NOT an accurate way of measuring speed. That has proven by scientific testing.

119, 123? How are these speeds possible?
Yeah, I've heard the same MPH numbers concerning the Ninja400... 121, 124, 125 MPH? I find it hard to believe the R3 or Ninja400, without major mods, would reach those speeds. I could be wrong, but I'm doubtful.
