I got my drive chain adjusted the other day and on the way back home I noticed my motorcycle wasn't performing properly. Acceleration was off and topped off at 93 when it usually goes to about 110mph top. I got home and propped the motorcycle up on a rear stand and started to rotate the wheel. I noticed there was this rubbing sound coming from the brake pads. My r3 is my first bike so I am not sure if this is normal or not

Go for a quick ride, stop and feel your brake rotor. It it really is rubbing then that rotor is going to be hot, especially if it's slowing your bike down to a max speed of 93.
Are you riding the rear foot brake by any chance? I've noticed a lot of new riders are riding the rear foot brake pedal and can see the brake light flickering as they ride along.
Make sure you get the toes of your right foot on the peg and not touching the rear brake pedal.
