As long as it's stainless steel, I would think it would work fine. Certainly a great price! I'd get it myself, but I removed my muffler over a year ago and I run it that way. I like the sound and it cleans up the bike a lot. Removed the rear foot pegs also.

Ok, new to forums and just got my '15 R3 a few weeks ago. It came with the M4 Street Slayer and the smaller baffle, which was unwrapped. I am going to wrap it but here is my concern. The end inside the exhaust is capped off so if I wrap the whole thing, all the little holes, how is there going to be ANY air flow? Does air still get through the fiberglass baffling fairly well? Any ideas would be very helpful.

Hi guys! Could you please help me making a decision? I'd like to change my stok exhaust. I decided to buy slip-on only. Full systems are expensive and not quite road legal in Poland. However as long as I'll keep stock system with catalisator and change just can to make a deeper sound, I should be fine with law... if the noise it makes is below 96dB. And every slip-on seems to meet those requirements.

I narrowed my choices to 3 mufflers:

1st one is Akrapovic. I'd say this is a safe choice. Looks and sounds great. Good price. I asked the seller on ebay if they have it in stock. *
2nd is LeoVince. They have it in stock. Good brand. Simmilar price to Akrap. I heard the sound of full system- it's nice. I saw that user #LeoVince posted pictures etc. But I can't find any record/ movie od the sound**
3rd is Musarri. I saw a movie. Sounds great! I really like it. I think it might sound even better than Akrapovic. It does for me. Ir is like 1/3 cheaper than the others. The only thing is... What a hack is Musarri? I can see only selling offers and movies of Kawasaki users. Where is it made? Is it really Italian or it is Chinese brand with an Italian flag in logo? WTH is Musarri's website? Will I have to adjust anything with my engine/mapping etc.or I'll be rady to go after installing?***

Please, share your opinions. What should I take?

*The only Polish store having it, has just run out of this. They said I need to wait 6 weeks for it. So it is faster from UK, and exchange rates are exceptional low at this moment
**Unavailable in Poland. I'm forced to buy it from UK
***Unavailable in Poland. I wish I could buy it from UK. Ebay offer suggests they have it in stock in UK. However when you go to their website, there's an information that for international deliveries, a package will be carried by their Asian operator and sent straight to buyer. So... they might not have it, or not willing to send it from UK to me.

Hey there, I have the Musarri slip-on and I can say that it sounds great for the price! I use it with the removable baffle out. Also, over time as it breaks in, the sound deepens a bit more. From what I have been able to find out about it, it is made in Australia by a company called Screaming Demon.

Here is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Screaming-Demon-347576708597478/

It only replaces the stock exhaust can (just a slip-on) so no remapping necessary. Just slip on, bolt on and go. I'm happy with it.

Hi! Thanks for the replay. Actually I found out they are Australians from Screeming Deamon.
I bought the muffler for myself- the only dealership in Europe is in N. Ireland. I received the package last week Thursday. I think I'm the only user of Musarri in Poland now :D
Mine is silver. I ordered black one, as yours, but producer messed up stickers on the box. But id doesn't matter, as I think it looks great on my MT-03. And of course it sounds great! Tomorrow I'll try to ride without the buffler. It is not quite legal, but... I'll try it anyway outside the town :)

Is this even worth doing if I only want to spend under $300?
That can only be answered by you. If everyone says it’s dumb and not worth it but it makes you feel better, then yes it’s worth it (for you). Maybe not for the gains in Hp or weight savings, or better ride quality, but for the joy it brought to you. We are motorcyclist, we buy **** because it makes us feel good, even if all logic says don’t do it. We come to the forums and seek affirmation, and may not get, but do what we want anyways.

Thanks for that! Exactly what I needed to hear! Now, I’d love something in carbon fibre look, but understand I can’t be too picky when wanting to spend less than $300. Is there one that you or anyone here knows of in that range that looks and sounds half decent? I don’t even have my bike yet, but I’ve watched many videos of it stock, and I don’t know if I could live with the stock sound!

What’s wrong with the stock note? Some people like it, some don’t, but to just judge it without even owning the bike is silly. I didn’t mind it, but that’s because I have owned previous bikes and accepted that the R3 won’t ever sound like any of those.

My bike has a slip on Akra GP exhaust. I was on a weight savings mission at the time and was stripping off what ever I could. It sounds ok. Sounds awesome in tunnels lol. Trust me, you’ll live with the stock exhaust. Go buy some gear with the $300. Even better, buy some track day time.

Did you find your to be kinda loose? I got mine today and I tried instaling it today but I notice that the tubing was bigger that the tubing end on my bike and even after applying the clamp it would slip right off if I pulled on it.
